![]() ![]() We parked on the top level of the garage adjacent to the arena. Tons of security and attendants waiting to help concert goers. Royal Farms being smaller provides a much more intimate atmosphere. ![]() ![]() Overall, the concert atmosphere was fantastic we've been to concerts at Verizon Center before and although having had great experiences there, since the arena in DC is much bigger, things were a bit different. The concert itself was excellent! Audio was excellent (for Journey more than Asia) and the video screens provided amazing onstage views of the band. Moreover, there were plenty of beverage vendors walking throughout, so if the lines were too long, which they weren't, one would still be able to purchase a drink from the walking vendors. Food and beverages being sold at well-manned stands and stations either to the left or right. Our section was immediately off the concourse where rest rooms were just to the left. They were extremely comfortable and with no issues whatsoever seeing the stage located on the end of the arena on the other side. Our seats were in section 224, first row. Concession stands were plentiful and at each one, at least two servers who were courteous, welcoming and a pleasure to deal with. Lots of security, attendants throughout the building and on every level. My first time back since then, and to say the least I was very impressed. Back then, the arena gave the impression of being an old, dumpy building, with little to offer spectators. My wife had never been to the arena before, while I had seen a Baltimore Blast game many, many years ago. My wife and I went to see Journey and Asia at Royal Farms Arena last week. ![]()
